Council has a building department which is responsible for both inside and outside Town Boundary. All building works require an approval by the Council and Town and Country Planning.
We have building inspectors who look after the building, subdivision & rezoning applications. A building permit is a confirmation that the building plans comply with the Council building code, building regulations and Town Country Planning requirements.
Sigatoka Town Council closely works with the department of Town & Country Planning to ensure that the plans are drawn to requirement standard. All building applications after being approved will require inspections which would be specified in the Council conditions.
For further information or enquiries please feel free to contact the building department on (679) 6500018 / 6520766 or email on building@sigatokatown.com.fj
